Ep = Epiglottis (basal part); Lv = Ligamentum vocale (vocal cord);
Mai = Musculus interarytaenoideus transversus (located under the mucosa);
Pae = Plica aryepiglottica; Pi = Plica interarytaenoidea;
Pve = Plica vestibularis (vestibular fault); Pvo = Plica vocalis (vocal plica);
Rg = Rima glottidis, pars intermembranacea (glottic space); Rp = Recessus piriformis;
Tco = Tuberculum corniculatum (beneath mucosa: Cartilago corniculata on top of the Apex cartilaginis arythaenoideae);
Tcf = Tuberculum cuneiforme (beneath mucosa: Colliculus cartilaginis arytaenoideae);
Te = Tuberculum epiglotticum (beneath mucosa: Apex petioli epiglottici); Vel = Ventriculus laryngis;
VL = Vestibulum laryngis (entrance into the larynx).
